I was eventually going to get to making Kup's model few years ago, until only recently I had the opportunity from 87render to model Kup for a brief cameo in the fan short: Arcee: Dreams of Daicon
Kup's modelling for the most part was rather smooth going until I had to model the lower legs, the topology and edge flow was rather tricky to sort out considering the goal to be 1:1 to the Sunbow/Toei Animation model.
As with my other G1 styled models, he's rigged using Rigify and cel shaded using 87render's material technique.
