Transformers G1 - Optimus Prime [Blender Model]

Originally modelled by my brother (Lth-RG) who later abandoned unfinished the model due to studies back in 2019, I picked up where he left off and completed the model because it was too good to waste.

The Idea with Optimus's Robot mode is to use the concept blueprints from MP-44's Design works article from Takara's Generations 2019 edition of the magazine, with a few liberties taken to add additional features like an opening Matrix Chamber with the Matrix of Leadership inside!, and Adjustable Antennae for more dynamic flare to posing in renders!

Late last year and early January I revisited this model and brought it up to speed with my other existing G1 Models with 87render's shader and a Rigify rig, as well as a Fully rigged Truck mode rigged with the Rigacar Addon!
Originally the Truck mode was supposed to look more realistic but I ended up making a hybrid bash with the Toei Animation model with a few minor details. the Trailer can fully open up to reveal Optimus's Battle Platform with a rigged turret and a little Roller model!

Nemesis Prime is a straight up redeco, with a slightly modified trailer to achieve the teal strip lines on the sides of the trailer.

Battle Convoy is a straight up homage to the Diaclone Car Robots toy that would be imported to the US as Optimus Prime with a completely remodelled head to replicate the figures head sculpt.
